TGZ Gets Ready
by TheKittyMan on Feb.26, 2010, under Blogging
I’ve been doing a lot of behind the scenes prep work recently. From setting up podcast feeds on iTunes. Getting people who are willing to write to start writing things. Talking some logistics with important people. I’ve just been swamped, in my mind.
To somebody who is skilled in these sorts of things, it could have been done in a weekend a few weeks ago, but I’ve been trying to figure everything out. Hope it goes well, to be honest.
CyberSecks and LIEKOMGKiMCast will be starting soon. TripCast is still waiting approval.
I’ll have the first Rental Weekend this monday, and the rest is details right now. I have a lot of faith in the things I’m doing.
I haven’t slept in a long time though, so I should go to sleep. Sleep sleep sleep, dreams dreams dreams… Night?

Ok, I’m not, but my friend Sam just showed me this video and I was laughing so fucking hard and I don’t know why…

StarCraft II Beta Footage Is Getting Me All Hot
by TheKittyMan on Feb.24, 2010, under Gaming
Now, I’m not one to gush over a game, but holy shit. Seeing all of the footage from people play the StarCraft II beta is getting me so excited.
The fact that it’s also pretty “exclusive” (unless you’re willing to pay 400 dollars for the chance) is making it a bit of a tease.
If I’m a fanboy of anything, it’s Halo and Starcraft. At least for Halo 3, and the upcoming Halo: Reach, I was able to be in the beta. Public betas are always win, in my book.
Even though I haven’t been keeping a REALLY close eye on Starcraft II since Blizzcon, I’ve been wanting a sequel for as long as I can remember. I’m not just into the crazy games either like playing Risk and Tank D, but I want to finish the story. I’m definitely a fanboy for this franchise and I’ve even bought the books, shirts, and posters. I want to see what happens with Jim Raynor, The Queen of Blades Kerrigan, and the rest of them. It’s exciting.
BTW, some of the best footage I’ve seen has been uploaded by Welp, so check that shit out. I mean, this, and also it’s next part here, is what gets me so pumped to jump back into the game.
Freakin Awesome Podcast 36 is Online
by TheKittyMan on Feb.19, 2010, under Blogging
Where have I been? Man. It’s like I’ve been so busy running around trying to get things together, I forgot that Artistic Alliance would be putting up FAP episode 36 up on their site. It’s been up for 2 days and I didn’t even notice!
What does that mean? It’s been up on iTunes even longer! Damn my busy schedule and desire for sleep…
I believe the intro to this podcast could be one of the funniest yet. Go and check it out and make sure to also stop by TGZ in the near future for our official podcast. Hopefully John would like to join us in the same way I join him. Then it’s just 2 sexy casts helping out each other.
Also, yes. I geek out about Halo in this podcast. I’m a bit of a fanboy. I know. Shut up. <3
Writer’s Block
by TheKittyMan on Feb.16, 2010, under Blogging
I’ve never been one for holidays. Truth be told, I hate Valentine’s day. Multiple reasons.
-Corporate Bullshit Holiday
-I’m Single
-People saying ValenTIMES Day
-I’m SINGLE
-I write poetry that’s sad and nothing makes me more sad than a holiday intended for something I’m not
This is usually something I’ve been used to all of my life, but this year I couldn’t think of ANYTHING. I’ve been so confused in my personal life, the ups and the downs, that I couldn’t think of anything to write. I couldn’t write something generic and loving or completely depressing and hateful. I feel a bit disappointed in that.
I know that I like to only write when I’m inspired, good or bad, but I would think that I could at least write something for Valentine’s day considering that I’ve been a giant mixture of emotions recently. I guess I’m so confused in my own thoughts that I just can’t write anything right now.
I really was hoping to write something. ANYTHING. Oh well. There’s always next year.
